Why there is no banner
Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Every cookie Zomo sets is required to deliver something you explicitly asked for — staying signed in, staying in a match, seeing the site in your language. There is no optional category, so a banner would be asking a question with only one answer.
If that ever changes, a banner appears before the cookie does, not after.

What is deliberately not a cookie
The one-time value that proves a sign-in came back from the same browser that started it is held server-side in our database, not in a cookie, and is deleted the moment you land back. So is the PKCE verifier that goes with it.
Embedded streams
A streamer’s page can embed their Twitch, YouTube or Kick player. Those players set their own cookies, under those companies’ policies, and we have no control over them. They load only on a page that is actually showing a stream — never on the homepage, the lobby or a match.
Turning them off
Your browser can block or clear all of these. Blocking zomo_session means you cannot stay signed in, and blocking zomo_spectator means every page refresh drops you out of the match — but nothing else on the site breaks.
